Doncaster Community Empowerment Network (CEN) is an independent network of local voluntary, community and faith groups. It is a way of involving people in the issues which affect their lives, neighbourhoods and communities.

The CEN provides a mechanism by which groups can use their knowledge of their own communities to make a positive contribution to the continued development of Doncaster. This is achieved by enabling the sector to influence the decision making process through representation on the Discover the Spirit Partnership and other key strategic bodies. We aim to ensure that the ground level experiences and views of community, voluntary and faith groups in Doncaster are highlighted and acted upon.
